Kayaking on the rivers of Leipzig (Karl-Heine-Kanal, White Elster and Elsterflutbecken) is not dangerous at all. All rivers have none to little current. The rivers have little traffic and are rather a quiet location within the city.

It depends on the season and temperature. While it might get cold in the evening and late fall and winter, you might want to bring short clothes during summer. Re recommend a hut and sun block when its sunny. Contact us for any questions on dressings and weather conditions.

At the Lindenauer Hafen we have plenty of free parking spaces on the street. You might have to walk a little bit to reach the pier.
